It is one of the three major festivals in Edo. "Tenkamatsuri" is held once every two years.
A festival of Kanda-jinja Shrine (Kanda Myojin), which was worshipped as the "Edo So Chinju" during the Edo period.
The Kanda festival, which is held once every two years in mid-May, is famous throughout the Edo period and is known as one of the three major festivals in Japan and the three major festivals in Edo.
For two days, the "Shinko Festival" where a line of historical costumes parade around the town, and the "portable shrine Miyairi" where about 200 large and small towns of portable shrine visit Myojin, are held.
