Do you have a tourist guide map?

Tourist guide maps in Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese are available at the tourist association. If you wish, we will send it free of charge if you pay the postage. Please see here for distribution types.

Do you have any photos of events or streets in the city? Can I borrow photos again?

We will lend you up to 5 points at a time from the winning works of the sightseeing photography contest. Please note that there are conditions for lending, so please check before contacting us. For details, please refer to "PHOTO & MOVIE" (link) on the site.

Can I make a link on the website of the tourist association?

As a general rule, the members of the tourist association are limited, so links cannot be made. In addition, it is possible to link from your company or organization to the Tourism Association.

Please tell me how to join the tourist association. What kind of benefits do you have?

This association is a voluntary organization composed of companies and organizations that agree with the purpose of the association. Please submit the "Application Form" to join. The annual membership fee is 10,000 yen per unit. For more information, please see "About Tourism Association" (link).
In addition, members' privileges include members' names on tourist guide maps and websites to introduce members, and issue membership cards.

Do you have a tourist information magazine? Is it free? Is it charged?

There is 2,100 yen per book "Hiroshige Famous Edo Hundred Views" edited and published by our association, and 1,728 yen per book "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia" that can be found on foot. There is no free information magazine, but maps are available.

It is from 8:30 to 17:00 on weekdays. (Closed on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays) It is also available at the Chuo-ku Tourism Information Center (9:00 to 21:00, 7 days a week), Chuo-ku Office, Nihonbashi Special Branch Office, and Tsukishima Special Branch Office.

About sightseeing and events

What kind of event is being held in Chuo-ku now?

Various events are held somewhere in the city. Please refer to the "Sightseeing Event Information" on the website of the Tourism Association for details such as the date and time.

Is there anyone who guides the tourist information on walking around the city?

It is Chuo-ku, a town of history, tradition, culture and information transmission. Chuo-ku cultural property supporters (volunteers) who have visited the history since Edo and completed the training course of the city will guide you through the town full of charm. I would like to go to the Tsukiji Outer Market for meals and shopping. When is the market holiday?

There are more than 300 stores, including marine products, fruits and vegetables, pickles, foodstuffs, restaurants, etc. In addition, some stores close after noon because they open early in the morning. Are sightseeing buses running around sightseeing spots in the city?

With the cooperation of local sponsoring companies, a free tour bus "MetroLink" runs every 10 minutes while stopping at 12 locations such as Nihonbashi, Yaesu, and Kyobashi areas from the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station. A 7-minute walk from Shiodome and Tsukiji Market Station on the Toei Oedo Line. Get off at Shimbashi Station on the Ginza Line and Toei Asakusa Line, and walk 12 minutes. A 7-minute walk from Shiodome Station on Yurikamome.

The recommended place for the "Night View Spot" (link) in the city is (1) "Harumi Triton" which is lit up colorfully. Get off at Toei Oedo Line Kachidoki Station and walk 10 minutes. (2)Get off at the end of the bus bound for Harumi Wharf from Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit and Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station, a secret location of Tokyo Bay Night View Spot. (3)A lit-up Kachidokibashi view from Hatoba Park in promenade along the Sumida River. Get off at Tsukiji Station on the Subway Hibiya Line and walk 8 minutes. (4)You can see the lit up Eitai Bridge up close from Shinkawa Park. Get off at Kayabacho Station on the Tozai Subway Line and Hibiya Line and walk 8 minutes.

Basically, on Sunday and Wednesday (irregular holidays), when the Toyosu Market is closed, except for restaurants and specific shops. However, recently, the number of shops that open little by little has been increasing. It is lively until about 15:00, including weekdays. There are 65 Monjaya shops in Tsukishima Nishinakadori Shopping Street (commonly known as Monja Street). Closed days and business hours vary depending on the store. About parking lot

Is there a large parking lot near the Tsukiji Outer Market?

There is no public parking. In addition, private parking lot can be used for a fee, but since it is not a parking lot for profit, it is not always possible to use it at any time, so prior confirmation is required. You can make a reservation from "Online" (external link).

Are there large parking lots such as buses in the city?

There is an Ichiba Bridge parking lot near Tsukiji Market. Reservations can only be made online. Please make a reservation from the sightseeing bus parking lot reservation on the Chuo-ku Tourism Association website. In addition, there is Marunouchi Kaji Bridge Parking Lot in nearby Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku.
