There are lots of highlights! Hiking from the station at Tokyo Station
In May, it was the refreshing season of the year. It's the perfect season for walking around the town.
Right now, I received familiar information from JR Tokyo Station!
There are lots of highlights! This is an announcement of "Hiking from the station" held at Tokyo Station.
For five days from May 17 (Wed) to 21 (Sun), "Hiking from the station" will be held at Tokyo Station for the first time in one year.
The title is "Enjoy the cityscape of modern Tokyo and the Edo atmosphere." It is a course that leads to Ryogoku Station via Nihonbashi and Kiyosumi Shirakawa while enjoying the fresh greenery and the waterside.
The course starts at Tokyo Station Marunouchi Station building, which celebrated the 10th anniversary of preservation and restoration last year.
If you pass through the overpass to the east, you will enter the gorgeous Nihonbashi area with many historical and modern buildings.
It seems to be fun to look for your favorite shops at a long-established gourmet spot on the way and eat and walk around!
Next, cross the elegant Kiyosu Bridge over the Sumida River and head to the Kiyosumi Shirakawa area, where Kiyosumi Garden is famous.
Why don't you think about the life of the Edo period at the Fukagawa Edo Museum in Koto-ku?
Finally, enter Sumida-ku from the Sumida River Terrace and finish at Ryogoku Station.
It seems that the station employees planned 100%. "Hiking from the station" is full of highlights.
It is a course full of charm that starts in Chiyoda-ku and walks through our Chuo-ku (Nihonbashi, Kabuto-cho, Suitengu, Kiyosubashi) and walks from Koto-ku, Sumida-ku and Tokyo Station.
Why don't you go around the area where the Edo atmosphere is deeply preserved from the city center while being blown by a pleasant breeze, and go hiking in a big city where you can feel tradition and new charm?
