Sohachi Kubota, founder of Yamagataya, who originated in Yonezawa (Yamagata Prefecture), raised a curtain of Yamagataya in Nihonbashikoamicho.
Challenge to "baked seaweed" during the heyday of dry seaweed. Release of Yamagataya's finest seaweed "Shikaoru" which is said to have raised the level of products for sale.
A Yamagataya Nori store that conveys the passion of the founders to the present and continues to create a taste that remains in history.
