The 25th Sakon Kanze Memorial Kanze Noh Theater

The 25th Sakon Kanze Memorial Kanze Noh Theater

"Kanze Noh Theater" is a base for the Kanze school that was built with the establishment of Kanzekai in 1900. In 1972, he moved from Shinokawa-cho (Omagari) in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo to Shoto, Shibuya-ku, and worked day and night to pass on and develop classical performing arts. In the spring of 2015, the 43-year history of Shoto ended. We said goodbye to the familiar place of Shoto, Tokyo, and in April 2017, we relocated the Shoto cypress stage to Ginza 6-chome, Tokyo, and a new Noh theater based on history was born.
