Mitsui Memorial Museum
Collection of more than 4,000 art pieces including national treasures
The Mitsui Bunko Annex (Nakano-ku, Tokyo), a collection of outstanding works of Japanese and Oriental art collected by the Mitsui family since the Edo period, was relocated to Nihonbashi and opened in October 2005. The collection has about 4,000 items and 130,000 stamps. This includes 6 national treasures, 75 important cultural properties, and 4 important artifacts.
