An annex of the Shogun's family where the garden has been expanded (nationally designated special scenic spots and special historic sites)

Hamarikyu Garden is a daimyo garden that represents the Edo period related to the Tokugawa Shogun family, and has been designated as a special scenic spot and a special historic site. Originally it was a falconry place for the Shogun's family, but Kofu feudal lord Tsunashige Tokugawa worshiped from the fourth Shogun's family rope and came to be called the Shimoyashiki "Kofu Hamayashiki", and later became the "Hama Goten" in the era of the sixth Shogun's Inobu. The garden is equipped with the only "Shiiri Pond" in Tokyo that draws in seawater and two duck fields, and has a characteristic landscape that changes its taste depending on the ebb and flow of the tide. In the Meiji era, it was renamed Hamarikyu and used as an amusement park for the Imperial Family. In 1952, it was designated as a special scenic spot and a special historic site. You can enjoy the nature of the four seasons and flying wild birds, and the scenery seen from "Ochiyaya in Nakajima" is a healing space that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the city.
