Eitai Bridge, which was the stage of numerous creations

The Eitai Bridge in the Edo period was built about 150m upstream from its current location, boasting the longest length in Edo, known as a famous place for view and coolness, and as a place to depart and arrive at various countries. It has also appeared on numerous creations such as ukiyo-e and classical rakugo.

After several damage and erecting, it was erected at its position as of 1897. It was severely damaged by the Great Kanto Earthquake, and in 1928 it became the current arched bridge.
The sight of the bridge during the day, where people and cars come and go, is lit up at sunset (until around 20 o'clock throughout the year), and its beautiful glow of clear blue attracts many people.
