In addition, Bon Odori on Tsukuda Island, which is held on July 13, 14, and 15 every year, is a kind of Buddhist prayer dance that is quiet, quaint, and sorrowful. Bon Odori on Tsukuda Island was designated as Intangible Cultural Property in Tokyo in 1976 due to tradition of traditional performing arts.
