The trace of a bridge spanning three rivers
During the Edo period, Kaede-gawa River, Kyobashi-gawa River, Sakuragawa River, and Sanjumabori flowed around this area. The Kaede River had Danjo Bridge, the Kyobashi River had a white fish bridge, and the Shinpukuji Temple Bridge was built in Sanjumabori, so these were collectively called Mitsuhashi.
