Shibakuchi Gomonzeki
The site of Masugata-mon Gate located in Kitazume, Shimbashi
Shibakuchi Gomon was built at the time of the 6th Shogun Ienobu in 1710, by the proposal of Hakuseki Arai to show the national pride in preparation for the entry of the Korean Communications Envoy. However, since it was burned down in 1724 (1724), it has not been rebuilt and the stone wall has been removed.
