Kikaku Takarai (1661-1707), who was born in Oomi, came to Edo and became a disciple of Matsuo Basho, and was later counted as one of Shomon Jutetsu. After Basho's death, a fancy style was created with a flashy haiku style, and one of them was called Edoza. The residence of the corner is near Yakushido in Minami Kayabacho, and died here. Representative works include "Nishiki Toriten Nebimasarikeri Hina's face", "Echigoya's ginusaku sound and changing clothes", and "The steps of a crane in the spring of the sun".
