A bridge built in the Edo period over the Kamejima River

The current Shinkawa area was once a low-marsh area with reeds. It is said that the name Reigishima was given because Reigan was built with legal power in the first year of Kanei (1624) and Reigonji was built. The bridge was built in the early Edo period, and the current bridge was replaced in 1985.
