"Kiya" is the family name of the Edo Nagauta Shamisen. The first generation came out of the samurai during the Tenpo era (1830-1844) and founded a group. The second generation is the most famous, leaving masterpieces such as "Funa Benkei", "Renshishi", "Shigure Saigyo", and "Adachigahara".
