Sugimori Shrine
A stone monument commemorating the lottery industry is located in the precincts of the shrine (Kumin Tangible Cultural Property).
Sugimori Shrine is said to have been founded during the Heian period, and was counted as one of the "Edo Mimori" along with Kasumori and Yanagimori in the Edo period. The shrine hall and others, which were rebuilt in 1931 after being burned down by the earthquake, are registered with the Tangible Cultural Property residents.
This shrine was held as a place for the lottery industry, as it was counted as one of Mitomi Edo. To commemorate this, a monument to Tomizuka is located on the grounds and is also registered with Tangible Cultural Property residents of Tangible Cultural Property.
