The site of a facility that has been casting silver coins for 69 years

About 200 years after Ginza, a silver coin foundry, opened in Ginza 2-chome, the Shogunate reorganized Ginza and moved Ginza to the vicinity of Kakigara-cho (currently Nihonbashi Ningyocho 1-chome).
This land is called Kakigara Ginza, and silver coins were cast for 69 years until the Mint was newly established in 1869.
