Daikanonji Temple
The Buddha's head, which is said to have been made in the Kamakura period (Designated Cultural Property, Tokyo)
Oganonji Temple is a temple of the Sho Kannon sect whose main temple is Senso-ji Temple. The main statue is an iron Holy Kanzeon Bodhisattva statue (iron Bodhisattva head), which is only the neck. In the precincts, the running guardian angel Idatenson is also enshrined, making it a sacred place for runners. The doors open every month on the 11th and 17th of fair, and anyone can visit.
