Ruins of Kamono Mabuchi
The residence of a national scholar who studied the Japanese spirit (Designated Cultural Property, capital)
Kamono Mabuchi, a national scholar and poet, studied with Azumamaro Kadano in Kyoto and went to Edo after his death to study the Japanese spirit through classical studies centered on Manyoshu. Around 1760 (1760), he moved to this area and taught national studies by calling his residence a prefectural residence. Motoori Norinaga and Hisaoi Arakida came out from the disciples of Mabuchi.
