"Human Assistance Bridge" (Tangible Cultural Property inhabitant of a ward) that saved many lives during the earthquake

Shin-ohashi Bridge, which was a wooden bridge that was wanted to be built in 1693 (1693), was replaced by a steel bridge in 1871 (1911) and was the only one of the five major bridges during the Great Kanto Earthquake. People who escaped difficulty in Hashigami in Shinohashi formed the Shinohashi Evacuation Memorial Party.
Every year, we hold a memorial meeting for this day, and we erected this monument in September 1933, the tenth time.
