Pottery flat with beautiful cobalt color (Tangible Cultural Property inhabitant of a ward)
The stone torii gate of Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine is 81 cm long, 46 cm wide, and is cobalt with Kuresu on a white background as "Meiji 15, June 30, Sumiyoshi Shrine Ichihon Noborihito". There is a flat plate of pottery.
The author, Imperial Prince Noborihito (1812-1886), was a master of Japanese calligraphy who served as the 8th generation of Arisugawa-gu Shrine, Lord Nakatsukasa, and Governor of Shindo, and was often visited by Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine.
