Edo's leading publisher who published works by playwrights and painters

Juzaburo Tsutaya (1750-1797) is a publisher of the Edo period, one of the leading actors who formed Edo culture. Line-off a bookstore near Daimon Yoshiwara. In 1783 (1783), he moved to this area and opened the Koshodo, a local bookstore dealing with fashionable books and ukiyo-e. He has published works by painters such as Hokusai, Utamaro, and Sharaku, and works by playwrights such as Kyoden Santo and Nanpo Ota, and has achieved many achievements.
